The library offers instruction in the use and evaluation of library and information resources to UMass Dartmouth students at all levels, from first year courses to advanced graduate seminars. The /find/instruction librarians are eager to work with faculty members to design class sessions geared to specific courses and specific assignments.

ENGLISH 101 - 102
Introductory research instruction is a required feature of English 101-102, as the designated information literacy component of the university's general education program. Kari Mofford is the liaison librarian with reponsibility for ENL 101 and ENL 102 ( x8865 or KMofford)

Teachers from local elementary and secondary schools and community colleges who wish to arrange visits to the university library should contact Mary Adams , coordinator of library instruction (x 8681; email), at least two weeks before the date they prefer. Instruction for outside groups may be unavailable during the busiest periods of the university's academic year.
